Mini Session

A half hour full of laughter, closeness and real connections. Perfect for families who want something light and honest: a short walk in the park, morning sunlight at home, or a cozy moment on the porch with your kids. Simple, natural, true.

 

Family Story Session

Up to two hours to slow down and create memories together. We might cook breakfast in your kitchen, explore the forest, play by the lake, or gather around a campfire at sunset. I’ll guide you gently, but the story is yours - warm, emotional, and unposed.

 

Full-Day Family Adventure

FROM $ 2000

 

From dawn till dusk, Your story grows on its own rhythm. Maybe we’ll begin with pancakes and laughter at home, then head to the mountains or the ocean or someplace far away — a cabin by the lake, a beach in the tropics, a city you’ve always adored. This is a day with no boundaries and no script, when your family becomes the story.

Are there any additional costs for extra people, travel or products?

The listed prices include one immediate family at one location. If you would like to add extended family members, multiple locations, makeup, hair styling or printed albums, these can be arranged individually with transparent pricing. Travel beyond a certain distance from Burnaby or Vancouver may require a small additional fee, which will always be confirmed beforehand.

How long will the session last and what does it include?

Each package has a set duration: Mini Session – about 30 minutes, Family Story Session – about 1 to 2 hours, Full-Day Adventure – a full day together. You’ll receive a private online gallery with professionally edited photographs. The number of images depends on the package and is listed on the pricing page.

What if the kids don’t cooperate or the weather is bad?

Please don’t worry. Children being themselves is exactly what I want to capture. My role is to make them feel at ease, not to force smiles. If the weather changes, we can either embrace it or adjust the timing slightly. Soft light, clouds or light rain often make photos even more atmospheric.

How will we receive our photographs and when?

Your finished online gallery will be delivered within about two weeks after the session. Printed products or albums, if ordered, may take longer depending on production and delivery times.

Where will the session take place?

The location is up to you. For the Mini Session we usually choose one location, such as your home, a favourite park, or a quiet outdoor spot. For longer sessions or bespoke packages we can go anywhere that feels meaningful to your family.


What time of day gives the best light?

The most flattering light is usually early in the morning or later in the afternoon when the sun is low. In autumn and spring, light tends to be soft for most of the day. Even a cloudy or rainy day can create beautiful mood and depth, so there is rarely a reason to cancel because of weather.

Yes, absolutely. For the Full-Day Family Adventure we can plan something truly unique, from a mountain escape or a cabin by the lake to a beach trip or even a Caribbean destination. If travel or special logistics are involved, I’ll provide a clear quote in advance.

What is your style and approach to family photography?

My style is relaxed, emotional and authentic. I give gentle direction when needed but focus on genuine connection and emotion. The goal is to tell your story honestly and beautifully, without stiff poses.

What should we wear?

Choose outfits that feel natural, comfortable and timeless. Avoid strong patterns, big logos or neon colours. Soft tones, earthy shades and natural fabrics photograph beautifully. It’s best when your colours coordinate gently without being identical.


How do we book and what is the deposit or cancellation policy?

To secure your date, a 30 percent deposit of the session fee is required at booking. The deposit is non-refundable but can be credited toward a rescheduled date if you need to change plans at least 30 days before the session. Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled date will result in the deposit being forfeited. The remaining balance is due shortly before the session. Full terms will be outlined clearly in your agreement.
